About the Role
VFX are looking for a sharp, numerate Payments Analyst to join our Treasury and Payments team — the engine room of our business. This team is responsible for managing the Group’s cash, safeguarding client funds, and ensuring smooth, timely payments across our global network.
Reporting into the Treasury Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, from funding accounts and processing payments to investigating queries and reconciling with our banking partners. It’s a hands-on role with real impact — ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives on precision, and wants to grow in a fast-paced fintech environment.
No prior experience is required — just a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily payment operations to ensure accounts are funded and payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Monitor and manage the Payments Operations mailbox, distributing tasks and responding to queries.
- Process payments using banking portals such as Barclays.net, Barclays File Gateway, and RBS Bankline.
- Investigate and resolve queries related to inbound and outbound payments.
- Act as a first-line escalation point for payment-related issues.
- Reconcile payments with our blue-chip banking partners.
- Assist with the reconciliation of internal broker and treasury accounts.
- Liaise with banks to resolve payment issues and ensure smooth operations.
Key Challenges
- Managing high volumes of time-sensitive payments with precision.
- Navigating multiple banking platforms and internal systems.
- Balancing routine tasks with ad hoc problem-solving.
- Working under pressure to meet daily cut-off times.

- Comfortable asking questions and taking initiative.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Calm under pressure and deadline-driven.

PSP & CSOP Details
At VFX, the biggest benefit is the opportunity to act like an owner. Through our Profit Share Scheme (PSP) and Company Share Option Plan (CSOP), every team member has a chance to own a stake in the business and share in the profits.
To show you what that looks like, in 2024, PSP participants received over $1,000,000 USD. From those distributions, more than 80% of eligible VFXers chose to become shareholders — a powerful reflection of the belief and commitment that drives VFX forward.
